Primary photographer and owner, Jonathon Ceci has put his life into giving others more than they expect.
Inspired at a very young age by his uncle's photography and development equipment, he learned all he could about photography. By the age of 18 he was already working for a prestigious photography studio in Toronto.
Jonathon began his career in wedding photography in 1998 but became frustrated with the predictable and traditional posing style and industry standards. With a background in the fine-arts throughout high school and university while being inspired by documentary photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Dorothea Lange, Annie Leibovitz, and Lewis W. Hine, Jonathon captures the wedding day in a whole new light. By allowing the day to naturally unfold, he sees the true essence of each moment and creates real photographs that have fine art appeal.
Photographing the day without directing the events affords Jonathon the time and control to create visually stunning images; and his images are further enhanced through his artistic editing techniques. What manifests is a beautiful blend of documentary and fine-art photography that Jonathon terms "fine-art photojournalism".
