Ever since I picked up my first camera as a young boy, I've had a passion for documenting moments in life. Since 1998, I have had the honor of documenting the most important day of many couples' lives. The wedding day is the culmination of all the love that surrounds a person throughout their life. This one day is a summary of all that is meaningful.
I seek to find the truth in each wedding celebration. The interesting ways that each family and culture interacts during this celebration always inspires me to learn and see more when I photograph.
My vision when creating photographs is to let you remember exactly what you were feeling while I capture what the world was seeing. Through a blend of fine-art and documentary photography, a blend of truth and beauty emerge from each image. I believe that fine-art photojournalism is the purest form of creating art from truth.
